Milne Feeds is pleased to welcome Wayne Manoni to the team in November. With an extensive background, spanning over 30 years in agriculture, Wayne brings a diverse, unique industry insight and understanding of farmers’ needs. He has had a particular focus in the livestock sector (predominantly sheep), along with wool, farm inputs, finance and business management areas.
Having worked alongside livestock producers for many years, Wayne has developed an in-depth knowledge of the industry, production systems and customer requirements. He understands the challenges of operating profitable enterprises, and appreciates that every farm gate has different goals and strategies. He aims to assist each customer with the decisions that are needed to be made along the way.
Wayne has a long history of both living and working across various districts in Western Australia, including Merredin, Southern Cross, Bruce Rock, Narrogin, Darkan and Cranbrook, to name a few, and strongly relates to country communities and their unique intricacies.
He has seen the industry at its best and worst, with vivid memories of the flock reduction scheme and wool stockpile days. He is excited about where the industry is currently, and the very bright future for both meat and wool producers, with advances in feed technology and livestock husbandry practices.
Wayne has an achievement-orientated approach and looks forward to helping Milne Feeds customers increase animal and enterprise performance through comprehensive nutrition and practical advice.
He is particularly impressed with Milne AgriGroup’s family-based ethos and feels the great diversity of the group brings excellent animal management and production expertise. He believes the technical focus of Milne Feeds has facilitated the development of specific product ranges for livestock producers, that are beyond doubt the premium brand in WA.
