Milne Feeds has been servicing the Narrogin area and surrounds for over 15 years through their local depot. In November 2020, the Milne Feeds Narrogin Depot moved to its new home at Hillcroft Farms. Located at 1561 Yornaning West Road, Lol Gray, via Cuballing, Hillcroft Farms is ideally situated for easy access just 32km north-west of Narrogin. Milne Feeds were excited to welcome well-known locals, Dawson and Lisa Bradford, to the team of depot managers servicing Western Australian farmers across the state.
The Bradfords, and Hillcroft Farms, have been a part of the local community for many years. It is run by Dawson and Lisa, Dawson and Greta, and their employees. Renowned for their honesty and integrity, Hillcroft Farms is a family-owned integrated business with diverse agricultural interests.
The Hillcroft Farms enterprises include:
- 4000ha cropping program
- 1200 ewe Ultrawhite Stud flock
- 9000 head commercial Ultrawhite ewe flock for lamb production
- 1400 sow piggery
The Bradfords’ Narrogin Depot has been welcomed by loyal Milne customers in the area. Rob Mullan of Mullan Farms, Wickepin, commented that the new Narrogin Depot operators “are very efficient at what they’re doing and there are never any issues with supply”. Mr Mullan commended the Bradfords for their input of new infrastructure which will help customers in the future.
Hillcroft Farms have invested in new storage capacity that will enable greater levels of stock to be stored, thereby ensuring significantly better product availability than the previous, limited arrangement. These state-of-the-art facilities will result in more accurate stock control, whilst the new weighbridge is perfectly situated to ensure efficient access for all customers. Brett Doncon, Wickepin, has found “Dawson is very easy to deal with, happy to go above and beyond”, commenting that “his staff are just as friendly”.
