Meet Milne Feeds' Jerramungup Depot Manager

August 12, 2021

Milne Feed’s Jerramungup Deport is ideally located to service sheep farmers in the region. With a background in farming and trucking, depot manager Leon Whittle ensures good pellet stocks year-round and a fast turnaround for truck loading.  Read more on his story below.

Leon Whittle was the very first employee of Campbell Transport in 2004. He started as a truck driver for David Campbell (owner of Campbell’s Transport) and has seen many changes through his time with the business. Campbell Transport has evolved into a 70-truck business specialising in various mining operations, namely Iron Ore and Lithium, through to bulk tippers, livestock, and general freight.

These days, Leon manages the Jerramungup division of Campbell’s business, which can have up to 25 trucks running through harvest. He also manages the Milne Feeds Jerramungup depot, which is conveniently housed in the Campbell Transport yard.

Leon has a great relationship with his clients and has a 'can do' attitude, which is imperative when dealing with many clients and truck drivers through periods when the answer to the question 'when do you need this done by' is usually 'yesterday'.
